Coppell tech firm growing office 40 percent with move to West Plano’s Granite Park

A Coppell tech firm is headed to Plano with a headquarters move.

Geoforce is relocating its offices to the Granite Park development at the Dallas North Tollway and State Highway 121.

The company is growing its head office by 40 percent with a move to 13,500 square feet in the Granite Park V tower.

In business since 2007, Geoforce provides software and tracking devices for the oil and gas, construction, mining, transportation and logistics industries.

The company provides services for more than 500 customers in 70 countries and grew its operation by 30 percent in 2017.

“As an innovation-driven company, Geoforce is always thinking many steps ahead, whether in our product development or in how we enhance our employee experience,” president and CEO James MacLean said in a statement. “Our tremendous growth has only been possible because of our team.

“So we wanted to build something that would help them be productive and engaged, while having a fun time,” he said. “Being in Granite Park and immersed in the energy of the greater Legacy area will do just that.”

Architect Gensler will design the new headquarters.

Robbie Baty of Cushman & Wakefield and Grant Pruitt of Whitebox Commercial Real Estate negotiated the new lease with Granite Properties’ Robert Jimenez and Aarica Mims.

Geoforce will relocate in the fourth quarter.
